"A Celebration of Three Waters"
Designed by P.J. Naomi
Fabricated by P.J. Naomi and Brent LeBlanc of Paul's Jewelry

This year's one of a kind piece is inspired by the waters of Louisiana. The three concentric drops of water are embellished with four carats and thirty seven points ( 4.37 carats) of brilliant diamonds. Each drop represents a different body of water in Louisiana.

The first is the blue waters of our Gulf teaming with the finest salt water fisheries and home to many Acadians who work on the elevated communities of oil platforms.

Second, the brackish waters of our fertile marsh where generations of Acadians not only work but also enjoy the many outdoor activities the marsh offers.

Third is the fresh waters of the Atchafalaya giving us our crayfish, Cyprus and great sport fishing.

These three waters give us the most  unique of all ecosystems. They have directly influenced our culture, our cuisine and our special appreciation of our abundant and diverse ecology.

1930's Hand-Carved Sohmer Piano

If you love the American pianos, but ruled them out for budgetary reasons and are now considering a mass produced Japanese piano like Yamaha, Kawai, or even a piano "Made in China", Sohmer offers the most attractive alternative to the much more expensive Steinway & Sons pianos. Having started manufacturing pianos in Queens, New York in 1872, Sohmer still represents one of the finest piano values on the market.
This particular instrument was built in the "Golden Era" of the piano, the 1930's, and it was recently completely re-built and refinished. It is about 5ft 4 inches long and made in all American walnut. All decorative ornamentation, in the style of King Louis XVI, are original. The details on the instrument are hand-carved. Even the original bench comes with it

The sound quality of the instrument is traditional American, akin to that of a Steinway: warm, rich and powerful. Because of the recent restoration of the mechanical system, the piano is fully playable, easy to maintain and very suitable for private recitals.

On the open market, even in today's economy, the estimated market value of this piano is $16-18,000.
